You can reach Gavrio, the main port of the island, by a boat from Rafina (distance 37 n.m.). The trip takes 2 hours (1 hour by a fast ship). There is a frequent service, which intensifies during summer (Rafina Port Authority: +30 22940 28888). You will reach Rafina by bus from Pedio Areos, Athens (KTEL bus service: +30 210 8210872).

Transport within the island is carried out by KTEL - Andros Bus Service (tel. +30 22820 22316), with frequent service between the villages.
